A marvelous thing happened in 1983 in Mrs. Pagels’ Kindergarten class: we became friends. Through all the bad hair-dos, larger-than-life glasses, boyfriends, two husbands (one for each of us) and two kids (they’re all Shawna’s), we’ve maintained our friendship. And our marriages, just to clarify.
Then came that fateful day in April 2008, when Shawna moved to California from Michigan to make a better life for herself and her family. Try as she might, Rebecca could not pack herself in a moving box and go along.
So, to keep us from missing each other like crazy, we blog.
